I returned to the secular cupola of the Athenaeum in order to listen, on Sunday, February 15, 2004, to the excellent piano duo Manuela şi Dragos Mihailescu, to a dense and captivating program, including opuses for two pianos by Debussy, Rachmaninoff and Brahms, interpreted with a special sense of proportions, construction and expressive colors, thus perfectly synchronizing the two soloists from Timisoara not only from the perspective of rhythmical precision, but also thematically, making their recital become a real delight.
