Violist Eva Stern is on the faculty at Eastern Michigan University. She has diverse experience as a both a performer and teacher. Stern has given recitals and taught master classes across the United States, Turkey and North Cyprus. She is a former member of the Richmond Symphony and the Louisville Orchestra, a current member of the Chautauqua Symphony Orchestra, and plays regularly with the Detroit Symphony Orchestra. Ms. Stern appears often as a recording artist, most recently on a CD of trios for viola, clarinet and piano, released on the Fleur de Son Classics label. She has previously taught at Bowling Green State University, Virginia Commonwealth University, and Longwood College. Ms. Stern holds a Master of Music degree from the Eastman School of Music.
