La Follia Ensemble, coming to us from Timisoara, Romania, will treat us to a performance of baroque music using instruments which are often faithful copies of those made during the 17th and 18th centuries. All the members of the group have had extensive training with opera, symphonic and chamber music, and have earned graduate and postgraduate degrees in the field of music. La Follia members include:· Codrin Emandi – Baroque violin· Diana Emandi -- Baroque violin· Adrian Ciuca – cello · Valentina Peetz -- harpsichord and Matthew Ardizzone, a classic guitarist, who will join the Ensemble as a featured soloist performing Vivaldi’s Concerto in D. This event is free and open to the public.
